Funding
Individual funding, for AP training programmes is available using the attached form which will be reviewed by the relevant training leads across South East London. From 23/24 application of high cost courses will be commissioned across South East London. This requires an open and transparent approach, addressing equality and equity across the six training hubs.
An identified supervisor is essential - and ideally they should have completed or be willing to complete the 3-day training if they are new to supervision - this is multi-professional
If it is a GP without any teaching qualification, again ideally they should have completed, or be willing to undertake the ISLA training
This is a standard that needs to be put in place so that there is assurance of quality within supervision for the ACP programme – it will also offer an opportunity for more nurses to become ACP supervisors or if they do not have the ACP background to do so, the course will provide a supervisors qualification looking ahead to the multi-professional PCN placements model.
Apply for funding
Before completing the form, please make sure to read HEE's Advanced Practice Handbook.
This funding is available only for the courses outlined in HEE's HEI Prospectus for 2023-24. Please click here to read through it and pick the university and course most suitable to your organisation and the learner. Funding for other courses will not be approved.
