SSSA Peer Review

SSSA update for practice assessor(s) and practice supervisor(s) as part of Health Education England's process for the re-approval of educators and PCN and Practice Learning Environments, educators over a 4-5 year period.

Following the SSSA update presentation, trained PA/PS nurses and nurse associates will provide evidence of peer review on an episode of teaching. This review will consist of a small group where each will present a 10-minute micro teaching session or a short case study on a chosen subject.

The guidance and peer review update has been designed to facilitate a reflective process and enable a formative assessment for trainers.
