Learning Disability - Annual Health Checks

This is an introductory session to Annual Health Checks in Primary Care.

It will involve best practice for the management of annual health checks for those patients within your practice who are on the learning disability register. People with a learning disability often have poorer physical and mental health than other people. This does not need to be the case, and this session will be designed to help manage the health checks in the best way possible for this group of patients. It will cover practice guidance on making reasonable adjustments and allow patients with a learning disability to access healthcare in an equitable way.
