Leadership and Advocacy: Act as a clinical leader and advocate for the implementation of group consultations across primary care settings in Bromley. Share good practice and promote the benefits of this model to PCN, GPs & practice staff.
Training and Development: Work with PCNs to explore their needs around the delivery of group consultations. Collaborate with the Bromley Training Hub to design and deliver training and support programmes for PCNs on how to effectively conduct group consultations. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure confidence and competence in delivering these sessions.
Implementation Support: Work with GP practices to facilitate the setup and integration of group consultations into routine practice. Provide support during the initial implementation phase and assist with troubleshooting any challenges that arise.
Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of group consultations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and practice efficiency. Collect and analise data to demonstrate the impact of group consultations on patient care.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including primary care networks (PCNs), GP practices, commissioners, and patients. Ensure alignment of group consultation initiatives with local healthcare priorities and needs.
Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest developments and evidence-based practices in group consultations and primary care. Share insights and best practices with the wider primary care community to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of group consultation activities, training sessions, and outcomes. Provide regular updates and reports to the Bromley Training Hub and other relevant bodies.
