I am a dedicated, multi‑professional educator who brings a rich and diverse background to teaching, grounded in my experience in administration, Midwifery, Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, and my work as a Senior Lecturer. This blend of clinical, academic, and operational expertise shapes my approach to education and enables me to create learning that is practical, inclusive, and deeply relevant to real‑world practice.
I am passionate about empowering learners in their professional development and am committed to promoting equitable, accessible and inclusive learning environments where every student feels supported to succeed. My teaching portfolio is broad, reflecting my years of experience across health and social care settings.
At SELWDH, I lead our City & Guilds programme team, delivering qualifications for administrative staff, including Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 1 and Level 2. I teach a wide range of courses both online and face‑to‑face, including phlebotomy, physiological measurements, chaperoning, and I contribute to the delivery and assessment of learners on the GPA Programme. My work also extends into the community, where I teach and assess care home staff in the use of Restore2, a vital tool that supports early recognition of deterioration in residents and strengthens safety and quality of care. Across all my roles, I remain deeply committed to nurturing professional growth and contributing to the delivery of high‑quality care across health and social care settings.
