I lead on research and evaluation, investigating the impact of a GP training intervention in areas where high levels of health inequity exist. I am also investigating how new roles in primary care impact on service delivery.

Since joining the Hub, I played a key role in developing the London-wide General Practice Assistant course, leading on gaining academic accreditation for the course.

Prior to joining SELWDH, I fulfilled the roles of Head of School Health Sciences and Strategic Lead for Medical Education at the University of Greenwich. I have fulfilled a wide range of leadership roles within higher education, and has extensive experience in leading and conducting research and evaluation studies.

I am a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich where I continue to supervise doctoral students. I also continues to contribute to ongoing developments and knowledge exchange in the field of healthcare simulation. I have six doctoral completions and have published widely.
