Southwark Training Hub
Supporting workforce development for primary care staff and training in primary care.
Training Hubs are commissioned and supported by Health Education England as networks of education and service providers based in the community, established in 2015. They are tasked with increasing capacity for future workforce training in the community and the development of current and future workforce around the needs of a geographically defined population. Southwark Training Hub is hosted by the South East London Workforce and Development Hub.
Training hubs work across boundaries to educate multidisciplinary workforce, transform education training and retention to meet the needs of the population served, provide financial framework and quality assurance whilst aiming to cover the whole ICS/STP area.
Southwark Training Hub team has an Operational Lead, and clinical and non clinical leads who come from Southwark practices. Here are the details:

Working with South East London Workforce Development Hub, our priority areas of work are placements in primary care, providing CPD for nursing and AHP staff, non-clinical staff training programmes. Full list of programmes can be seen on our main pages.
Training Hub also supports the Protected Learning Time events, more details available below.
Nursing staff forums are held bimonthly on alternative Tuesday or Wednesday at the St.Peter’s Church in Camberwell. Agenda starts at 1 pm and lunch is available. Here are the upcoming dates and agendas:

Practice Management Forums are held online every fourth Thursday of the month from 1.30 starting with a closed session until 2 pm. Here are the dates: 28th of May, 25th of June, 23rd of July, 24th of September, 22nd of October, 26th of November – Join the meeting now
