Whether you’re an aspiring manager, a new GP partner, a reception or admin lead, or someone with the drive to improve access, patient experience, quality, or embed newer ways of working – this programme is for you. The Practice Development Programme will support you to turn insight into action. Through focused sessions – Discover, Diagnose, Design, Develop, Deliver – you’ll learn how to reframe problems facing you and your team, co-create with your colleagues and lead meaningful change in your practice. Along the way, you’ll be supported by mentoring, action learning sets, and a network of peers facing similar challenges. If you’re curious and want to move beyond firefighting to start shaping sustainable solutions, now is the time.
We continue to iterate our programme based on feedback – we know your time is precious, so this cohort moves to 3 face to face sessions.
Please discuss your participation with a leader in your practice, please encourage them to come with you. It is an excellent opportunity to attend in a pair – as we will ensure lots of time for you to discuss your individual practice issues together. However, we have had participants attending alone who have also given very positive feedback.
The course is for clinicians and non-clinicians alike – many pairs in the past have been GP partners / clinical leads and a PM / assistant PM – but we have also had lead receptionists, ops leads and deputy practice managers and aspiring partners in attendance.
